Hello this is a bipolar series book sample email tristaleach28@gmail.com for the book Bipolar series **Twin Part 1#** You might think I am referring to my actual twin, but it's much deeper than that. I'm introducing a story about my twin—the other half of me—through the first installment of my book series. Welcome to my journey of writing. I hope you enjoy it. **Acknowledgments** Thank God for this opportunity and for the gift He has given me to write. Thank you. **The Beginning** **Part 1** "Stop! No! That's not me! Please, wait, no!" Harmony's cries echo through the dimly lit corridors as strong hands drag her into a shadowy room. A cold dread washes over her as she realizes a sinister copy of herself is trying to take her place. This doppelgänger wears an evil smile that chills Harmony to the bone. Panic sets in as she feels the icy grip of terror tightening around her heart while they pull her down a dark, suffocating hallway. The walls seem to close in, whispering secrets she can't comprehend, and a shiver runs down her spine as that malevolent smile follows her like a ghostly shadow. What is happening? Why is she being replaced? Is this a nightmare or a twisted reality? Clarity eludes her as confusion reigns, deepening the darkness around her. Keep reading, and you will uncover the horrific truth. **Chapter 2** The answer is no; this is not a dream. Harmony sits in the unknown, her mind racing as she grapples with the chilling reality of her situation. The potential actions of her replacement could ruin everything for her family. As she prays for a way out, all she can think about is writing her story with a piece of chalk on the floor, hoping that someone will rescue her. The secrets she never told anyone swirl in her mind. She sees people whispering in her replacement's ear about things she can hardly understand. There is a story behind her tears, and she hopes someone finds her. When the replacement walks into the room and sees Harmony crying, feeling helpless, she asks, "God, why is this happening to me?" "My name is Evilet," her doppelgänger replies. "Why are you doing this?" Evilet answers, "You need to quiet down. I don't want to kill you; without me, you're nothing. You would have been dead by now." "You won't get away with this! If someone finds me or says the words, they'll set me free!" Harmony shouts. Evilet laughs at Harmony, feeling triumphant. Then, she leaves the room, while Harmony continues to paint her fears with tears on the floor. She slept like Sleeping Beauty, waiting for her prince to rescue her. Harmony's family is fiercely worried about when she will come back, while plastered all over the news, it leaves everyone curious about where she could be harmony is 20 years old, and as 3 years fade away, still no one finds her By now, she is 23 years old The news report reads: "Reporting to you live, the police and FBI still can't find any evidence regarding Harmony P. Henson. If you have any information, please call us. Thank you." Meanwhile, a former football player watches the news, and his curiosity gets the best of him. As if he wants to help find her, that night, Harmony prays for deliverance, hoping someone will find and save her. Then something interesting happens: they both go to sleep at the same time. The football player's name is David Thompson. David thought about her out of nowhere as he made his way to the restroom. When he returned, he was still curious about the unknown: Where is Harmony? He found himself tossing and turning in his sleep, preoccupied with thoughts of her. At the same time, he was concerned about his sick mom, Janet. He also thought about his friends and classmates. David attended Florida State University, where maintaining good grades was very important to him. He loved to work out, but lately, things had slowed down for him as he contemplated the future. He wondered where he would meet his future wife, where she was from, and what she would look like—it felt as if he were searching for love. His brother, Howard, noticed his distraction and asked, "What are you so worked up about, bro?" "This missing girl," David replied. "Please don't tell me you have a crush," Howard teased. "Bro, no way! I'm just worried, that's all." "Well, figure it out; we have a test tomorrow." "I already know we have a test tomorrow." "Come on, get your head in the game. To play the next game, we have to pass the test." "You coming or what?" Howard asks. "Alright, David," he said. "That's what I'm talking about!" the next day ### Chapter 3 The same news came on, making him even more curious. As the fire alarm went off, David was on the phone with his brother and said, "I'll call you back." Then he hung up, walked to the front door, and stopped as the power went out. The news returned along with the power, leaving him startled. David went to sleep and entered a dream where Harmony was being dragged down a dark hallway. He called out, "Stop! Come back!" Harmony was screaming for her life, pleading, "Help! Please help!" David entered a cold, dimly lit room and found Harmony lying on the floor, bound and chained. "How long have you been here?" he asked. "For three years," Harmony replied, tears flowing down her face. "Who did this to you? Are you hurt?" he asked urgently. "You have to say the word to set me free," she replied. "What is it? Tell me," David insisted. "Come on, I'm getting you out of here," he said. "Stop! I've been down here for a very long time," she warned him. "Wait, you're the missing person!" David exclaimed. He attempted to unloose the chains from her arms. As she touched him, it sent chills down his spine, and he suddenly woke up. He had never felt so passionate about someone before. Could this be his soulmate? Once he was fully awake, he flooded his bed with tears, feeling the weight of his task to go back and save her. Everyone he told thought it was just a dream, but to him, it was his reality. ### Chapter 4 "I have to set her free, bro!" David insisted. "Calm down, bro," his brother replied. "No, this is serious! She's been gone for three years." "You are going insane," he retorted. "I need to go back into that dream." The next day, Evilet visited Harmony and said, "Do you think he knows the words?" "I'm not going to let him do that again for some word," she replied. "Yes, yes, he is, and he's going to set me free." Then Evilet closed the door. That night, David went to sleep, hoping to return to the same dream and save her for good. "What are you doing?" Harmony asked. "I'm trying to help; I'm getting you out of here," he replied. "She took my identity. She's dangerous," Harmony warned. "I don't care; I'm getting you out of here!" David exclaimed. "Jesus, come on, why are the chains so—" Just then, as he was speaking, the chains broke. He quickly picked her up and ran to the door, finally setting her free. ### Chapter7 Continued**baby calm down talk to me. whats going on? mom you got to beilieve me! shes alive! who baby the girl in my dream harmony. you mean the one on the news janet replies yes! yes her honey shes been missing for 3 years now mom you got to beileve me. oh my baby you sound just like your father he would talk about things that wieghed heavy on his heart expesioally if he loves someone he couldnt let some things mom i know bbut i seen her dad has nothing to do with this i really want to find her make sure shes safe david replies i beileve in you my son an you know god works in masterious ways you need to let go and let things happen naturally if it was trully ment for you to see her it will happen trust me. janet says with a low tone ''yes mam'' now you have been talking about htis girl alot have you been going to school? yes im going to tell you something i told your father before he passed away in life the things that makes us strong are sometimes letting go and letting god handle the situation let him take the wheel can you do that for me baby god says he that finds a wife finds a good thing i know you care about her but at least take care of your self mom i have to go but i love you, and i love you to janet replies i have some things i have to do my self i will keep you in my prayers son love you by. talk to you later mom i promis thank you mom i trust your going to do the right thing nest seen chapter 7 janet released the call then davis getts a incoming call and answers
